2009 Poe Commemorative Stamp with Poe Museum First-Day Cover On the occasion of Poe's bicentennial, the US Postal Service released a commemorative stamp in honor of Mr. Poe. The stamp was officially released at a ceremony on January 16, 2009 in Richmond, Virginia. The Poe Museum commissioned HeliumStudio to design this limited edition first-day cover to be stamped and cancelled at the ceremony. Each cover is individually numbered, and supplies are limited.
